EMMIR student Ousman Saine has brought his expertise on migration into the Norwegian public debate, co-authoring an opinion piece on the far-reaching consequences of European border control.

During his second EMMIR semester, Yusril Nurhidayat found himself taking part in two very different global forums in Taipei and Brussels. The European Union has now awarded the Erasmus Mundus programme, EMMIR (The European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations) approximately €4.6 million to support EMMIR for another five years.

On Sunday, September 14, the newest EMMIR cohort went on their first field trip of the semester—an eye-opening journey through the histories of East Frisia and the Emsland in northern Germany.
