If you are passionate about migration studies and intercultural relations, this is your opportunity to join a unique, globally focused master’s programme that spans three continents.
What is EMMIR?
EMMIR is a two-year Erasmus Mundus master’s programme that explores migration through an intercultural approach. Jointly run by three African, four European, and two Asian partner institutions, EMMIR provides students with a unique opportunity to study across multiple continents and gain first-hand experience in migration studies.
Since 2011, EMMIR has been running under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus label, and since 2016, it has been funded under the Erasmus+ label of excellence, making it one of Europe's top programmes in migration studies.
Students will spend each semester in a different country, gaining a comprehensive understanding of migration issues in Europe, Africa, and Asia. The programme equips students with theoretical, methodological, and practical skills, fostering critical thinking and intercultural sensitivity.
