"One of the most intriguing realizations I gained during the study trip to Berlin is that we can find traces from Germany’s colonial legacy in Namibia in the racial theories and mentalities of National Socialism. This historical continuity was never clear to me", says Oliver, cohort 8 student.

A group of students traveled to Berlin to learn about the genocides committed by Germany in the 2nd and 3rd Reich from a gender perspective. Representatives of the local NGO “Berlin Postkolonial” guided them through a critical reflexion upon Germany’s colonial legacy.
