EMMIR welcomes high school students from Hungary and Germany

A group of more than 20 students aged between 16 and 28 years old from the Gymnasium Wildeshausen and the school St. IStvan of Budapest came to Oldenburg to learn about EMMIR and the field of migrations studies.

Hungarian and German students are doing an exchange program and they arrived full of curiosity and interesting questions. EMMIR Alumni Paul Agoe and Leonie Pessara explained the particularities of the European-African program and the intercultural experience of having fellow students from different continents. Students ask questions related to the field of migration studies and the type of jobs EMMIR graduates can implement.

The session was held in English and coordinated by the two EMMIR Alumni, the International Students Office and the teachers of the gymnasium. Later the students also visited the campus and the library.
