Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data (OJ L8 of 12.1.2001, p.1).

 

Except as set out below, neither the University nor the EMMIR Consortium Committee will disclose any of your personal information to third parties.

 

Your information may be disclosed to third parties where the University or the EMMIR Consortium Committee is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the University, its staff, students, or any other person (including but not limited to third parties who claim that you have infringed their intellectual property rights and/or privacy rights). This data sharing includes exchanging information with other organisations for the purposes of fraud protection.
