Thank you for your interest in applying to the European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations. The following information is intended to help you to prepare a competitive application for our programme. The application process is coordinated by UOL and supported by the EConsort application manager online. The final admission decision is taken by the Selection Committee consisting of members of all partner institutions.

NOTICE (as of 20 Feb 2024): Applications for self-funded placements are open.
Applications for self-funded study places for EMMIR Edition 12 (2024-2026) are now being accepted. The deadline for Scholarship and Non-Fee Paying study places was on 15 December 2023, 23:59 CET. Fee-paying applicants can apply until 15 July 2024 (depending on the availability of study places).
Interested candidates are invited to contact Keti Antadze-Tamminga at emmir(at)uol.de with the subject line “Fee-Paying Application” prior to submitting their application.
The EMMIR Team only recognises the time stamp of your submission in the database i.e. if the system registers the time stamp after the 23:59 CET of the scholarship deadline, you will not be considered for the scholarship study places. Please also be aware of the time differences between your location and CET/CEST.

A note on privacy:
Please be informed that if you are selected (proposed for a scholarship, put on the reserve list or to be enrolled on a self-paying basis), your data may be used for the
purposes of evaluating the programme, efficiently managing the project, and producing statistics. Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data (OJ L8 of 12.1.2001, p. 1).
The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), in the context of managing the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, collects and processes the personal data of some of the candidates. In particular, certain data of the scholarship holders and non-scholarship holders is shared with the Agency and treated according to this privacy statement
Data could be made available to the EACEA, the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, as well as to other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices, and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association.

Please note that the EMMIR team does not have any official WhatsApp groups, and we are not participating in nor monitoring any privately created groups. All official enquiries about applications to our programme should be directed to us via email.
